International students’ dormitory for University of Helsinki. First alliance-type planning and realisation project in Finland, renovation and additional construction of a listed 1960s building block.
The key result areas for the alliance were improving energy efficiency, taking into account sustainable development, and innovations for the control of energy consumption during use to less consumption behaviour, as well as the improvement of the efficiency and degree of use in a 30-40 year time span. The alliance achieved the set goals excellently both in the implementation phase and when looking at the continuous and regular follow-up during use.
