A residential tower, metro station and shopping centre creating visual identity to Niittykumpu area
The Niittykumpu Centre is located next to the new metro station and includes, in addition to a compact shopping centre with access to the metro and a parking facility, two residential apartment buildings
The taller landmark-like residential building has 24 floors and 200 apartments, and the lower one has 12 floors and 94 apartments. Additionally, a covered pedestrian and bicycleconnection under Merituulentien was included in the project.
Sarc architects was responsible for the planning of the project from the city plan phase to implementation. The project was a pilot project for the city of Espoo on setting the environmental classification goal for the planning phase
