One-of-a-kind boutique hotel in Finnish Lapland

Gáldu is a one-of-a-kind boutique hotel located next to the Urho Kekkonen National Park in Finnish Lapland. It offers two suites and 29 premium standard rooms, a modern restaurant, and an Arctic outdoor spa. The concept is built on high-quality service and a deep respect for the nature of Lapland. The hotel emphasizes local ingredients and sustainable tourism.

The hotel consists of two separate log-structured buildings. The spa is located in a detached building, connected to the main building by a short covered walkway, and features three different types of saunas and a selection of outdoor pools.

The aim of the interior design was to create a tranquil and cozy atmosphere. The material and colour palette draw inspiration from Finnish nature. Large windows combined with dark tones make the surrounding landscape more present in the rooms.

Sarc + Sigge is responsible for the main, architectural, and interior design of the project.
