The new buildings blend naturally into the historic surroundings

The Samppalinna residential complex consists of five apartment buildings and two-story townhouses located between the apartment buildings, and two existing buildings renovated into apartments. The starting point for the design was a timeless and monolithic overall look, with brick as the main facade material throughout the block.

The former Turku Technical College block is being gradually transformed into a compact but sheltered residential area, where the new buildings blend naturally into the historic surroundings.
