Carbon footprint
The carbon footprint of an expert organization is relatively small compared to many industries and the external impacts of the operation, but it is monitored – and necessary actions are taken. Sarc conducted a rough assessment of its carbon footprint in 2022 and 2023. Scope 1, or direct emissions, is zero because the company does not own cars or facilities. Scope 2, which is essentially the amount of purchased energy for office use, was relatively low. A new assessment will be made in 2024 when Sarc + Sigge has begun its unified operations.
