A neoclassical building, originally consecrated in 1817 for the Royal Academy of Turku.
A complete renovation of this very important historical building was completed in 2017 when the building itself turned 200 years old during the Finnish centennial. A historic landmark, protected by the Finnish Heritage Agency, was completed in 1816, and today the building houses the Turku Court of Appeal.During the extensive renovation the roof, HVAC systems and facades were renovated. The interiors were renovated and refurbished into a modern workplace for the court of appeal.
